Where to start….. where to start….
My name is Enza (you’ve gathered that already, right?) and I’m a simple college student on a major life quest to travel as much as humanly possible. Why? It’s just who I am? I think? Being a lifelong adventurer and bookworm has me wanting to get myself out there and experience life as it is, not just how I have read it to be in books.
I’m a current student at Georgetown University, where I study international politics and cybersecurity. I would love to be a foreign service officer one day.
Since being at University, my most recent adventure was at Walt Disney World, where I lived and worked for a whole year as an intern firstly in food service in Animal Kingdom, then in the V.I.P. tours department driving company vehicles and giving out snacks to the rich and famous. Was it as cool as it sounds? Honestly, yeah.
Now, I’m back in my home base of Richmond, Virginia, taking online classes and gearing up to spend another whole year… this time living in the Netherlands and working as an au pair in a small town named Zeist, off of Utrecht.
So needless to say, the majority of this blog will be Europe content for a while!!
Future future plans (I am a stickler for a five year plan)… After the Netherlands, depending on if I enjoy being an au pair.. maybe I move to France? Once I graduate with my undergraduate degree in Spring 2027 I hope to earn a TESOL (english teaching) certificate and get my butt out there once again! South Korea perhaps? Once I get some English teaching under my belt I want to go and join the Peace Corps! It would be wonderful to prepare for a career in foreign service, and I am a tough enough cookie I could handle whatever enviornment I’d be in.
After that? Who knows! Nobody yet!
